What is Botox?

Botox is a cosmetic injectable which contains a type of highly purified botulinum toxin which may work to fill in a majority of creases and folds. In fact, this injectable is one of the most popular injectables and may work to fill in creases around the mouth in addition to those created by furrowed brows.

What can it treat?

This injectable has the capability to treat moderate and possibly even severe creases. In addition, it may be administered in a variety of area, but it is most commonly added to the area surrounding the mouth, between the brows, or crow’s feet.

How does it work?

If you are looking for a product to help the creases appear more subtle or even disappear, then it may be a great idea for you to consider receiving Botox! We make many expressions throughout our life to best express whatever we are feeling, but this may cause some repercussions: creases. This product works by preventing the muscle which contract and cause the creases and folds to form and may last up to 4 months!*

What is Juvederm?

Juvederm is a dermal filler which contains hyaluronic acid. In fact, this ingredient is already a naturally occurring substance found in your body, and it works to help your body by helping maintain volume while allowing your skin to receive nutrients and keep moisture.

What can it treat?

Juvederm may be used on multiple areas, but there are a few key areas in which the administration of Juvederm is most common. Some of these areas may include but are not limited to marionette, parentheses, and wrinkles around the nose.

How does it work?

Juvederm may work to help smooth out the appearance of those wrinkles and creases for up to 1 year. With the hyaluronic acid, the volume that is restored takes the place of where it was lost in the creases. The creases may become an annoyance, but you may not need to deal with them anymore after you  receive Juvederm.*

Are there any side effects?

There are a few side effects that may follow after receiving Botox or Juvederm. Some of them may include but are not limited to redness, swelling, tenderness, discomfort, or lump formation may occur.
