What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting was created by Harvard University scientists. The FDA approved treatment uses Cryolipolysis technology. Cryolipolysis focus is to help target fall cells. It doesn’t focus on just any fat cells; there main purpose is to focus on the fat cells that are tough to tone. The areas that have fat cells that are tough to tone are the abdomen, inner and outer thighs and the love handles. *

What is the CoolSculpting procedure?

The procedure for CoolSculpting can take about 30 minutes, but it depends on the person. It depends on the person because it is up to him or her on how much fat they want taken off. There can be possibly be more treatments it just depends on what is your end goal.

CoolSculpting begins with a medical expert getting a device and placing that device above the specific areas. Once the device is placed about the areas, the fat cells in those areas will be frozen. Don’t worry the organs and tissues around the treatment area will not be touched or harmed. Once the fat cells are frozen they will fall off the body naturally.

What is Liposuction?

Liposuction's main purpose is decrease stubborn fat especially the little pockets of fat. Both CoolSculpting and Liposuction help reduce the stubborn fat, but Liposuction does it in a unique way. Liposuction is a surgical procedure. A very important note when it comes to Liposuction. A person can get Liposuction only if he or she is near their recommended body weight. Liposuction is NOT a weight loss surgery, it focuses more on the little pockets of fat.*

What’s the Liposuction procedure?

The treatment begins with one or two small incisions into the target area. A handheld tool is used and that tool is called Cannula. Cannula will enter and go through the incisions. Cannula causes the fat to break apart, which causes it to go back and forth. Once inside Cannula leads the fat cells to break apart in the treatment areas. Liposuction sucks out the lessened fat cells. Because Liposuction is an invasive procedure, the patient is given anesthesia because the medical expert wants to make sure that he or she feels no pain or discomfort. *

What’s the difference between CoolSculpting vs Liposuction?

CoolSculpting vs Liposuction are both known for reducing body fat in the toughest areas, but they are two different procedures. One of the main differences between the two is CoolSculpting is not an invasive procedure, so it doesn’t require anesthesia, while Liposuction does. Both CoolSculpting and Liposuction target fat cells, but they dwindle in diverse ways. CoolSculpting freezes the fat cells and Liposuction sucks them out. Also, another difference is Liposuction is a little harsher when it comes to the fat cells because during one session more fat cells will be destroyed. To get your result goal, you might need to get Liposuction just one while with CoolSculpting it might take a couple treatments.
