Dump Your Skin Creams! Get Fraxel in Dallas, Frisco and Arlington

Don’t we all have a stash of half-used jars of anti-aging creams? You can spend hundreds of dollars on dark spot correctors or wrinkle reversers, but it may take some time to see a real difference in your skin. Unfortunately, the results from topical treatments won't provide you with results as quickly as you're looking for.

The Fraxel® laser provides real results quickly by spurring fresh skin growth. This fractional laser will dramatically change your skin without extended downtime. With Fraxel®, you can tackle loose skin, dull skin, wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, and more.

Laser skin resurfacing works by peeling away all of those imperfections to reveal a layer of new and healthy skin. We use the Fraxel® specifically because it is superior to other lasers in terms of risk and recovery time

Our patients love the flawless skin they get with laser skin resurfacing. They feel more beautiful with less makeup. You can resurface your full face, or instead revive a tired-looking chest, neck or hands with laser therapy. Find out why everyone’s talking about laser skin resurfacing by calling 214-369-1600 or by reading more below.

What is Laser Skin Resurfacing?

Brand-new skin sounds great, but how does laser skin resurfacing really work?

The Fraxel® laser penetrates the skin via a customized microgrid. Your microgrid will be personalized to your unique face, and it will ensure that the laser damages only a small portion of skin. The innovative Fraxel® laser reduces healing times while still delivering stunning results.

During laser skin resurfacing, microscopic light beams penetrate deeply into the treatment area, vaporizing microcolumns of the skin. These micro-injuries trigger the body’s healing processes, like subdermal collagen and elastin production. Basically, you’re calling those natural skin-renewing abilities directly to a specific area.

After laser treatment, the body stimulates the growth of new, healthy cells from the inside out. Not only does Fraxel® encourage collagen and elastin regeneration, but it also produces about 20% new surface skin with each treatment.

Layer by layer, old and damaged skin is replaced with brand-new, beautiful skin. Laser skin resurfacing can be used to improve photodamage, sun damage, poor or uneven texture, dull skin, hyperpigmentation, acne scars, liver spots and much more.

Fraxel® Results You'll Love

Benefits of Getting Fraxel in Dallas, Frisco or Arlington

How does laser resurfacing transform your skin?

  • Better tone and texture. Many patients dislike hyperpigmentation, rough spots, or generally uneven skin. Laser skin resurfacing introduces a fresh layer of skin which is perfectly smooth and even.

  • Fewer spots and scars. Laser skin resurfacing strips away brown spots, acne scars, and even surgical scars (including tummy tuck and arm lift scars).

  • Wrinkle reduction. If you’re starting to see fine lines and wrinkles, especially around the eyes, laser resurfacing will give your skin new life.

  • No surgery or injections. Skip cutting, stitching, and needles altogether with Fraxel®, but see the same outstanding results. Integrated cooling methods make laser skin resurfacing even more comfortable.

  • Results after one treatment. Our patients love that they look young and glowing after just ONE treatment. Multiple sessions will produce even better outcomes.

  • Beautiful results. Fraxel® is for people who want to look young and fresh without making any unnatural or dramatic changes. With laser skin resurfacing, you can target age spots, scarring, and wrinkles, and enjoy the best version of your own skin.

Treatment Areas & Conditions

People most commonly use Fraxel® for the face, but other popular treatment areas include the neck, décolletage, hands, and arms. Here are just a few of the skin conditions you can address with Fraxel in Dallas, Frisco & Arlington:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles: Fade crow’s feet, neck lines, or deep wrinkles with Laser Skin Resurfacing.

  • Scarring: Improve scars from acne, surgery, trauma, and more. You can even treat icepick or rolling scars with laser skin resurfacing.

  • Uneven tone: Banish hyperpigmentation, age spots, brown spots, sun spots, or any other marks that are disturbing your beautiful skin.

  • Texture issues: Treat stretch marks, rough spots, loose skin and more with this laser, and get glowing skin allover.

Your Questions, Answered

What is the Fraxel Treatment Like?

When you visit us in Dallas, Frisco or Arlington for laser skin resurfacing, we will cleanse your skin and apply a topical anesthetic ointment to the treatment area. We’ll let the anesthetic take its numbing effects for 60 minutes before beginning treatment. The procedure itself takes about 20-25 minutes (for a full face). Patients experience a prickling sensation, but no intense pain.

Is There Downtime & When Will I See My Results?

Fortunately, the Fraxel® laser recovery does NOT resemble the laser recoveries of the past, which involved many weeks of downtime and laying low while the new skin grows. There is always some downtime after laser skin resurfacing, but the Fraxel® laser reduces that downtime significantly. It produces as little damage as possible to get the same spectacular results.

You can expect redness, swelling, peeling, dryness, and scabbing after treatment. There might be some pinpoint bleeding and oozing. Most patients return to work about 5-7 days after treatment.

Remember to stay out of the sun to allow the skin to heal properly. Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer twice a day, and avoid peeling and picking the skin (no matter how tempting it may be). You will see improvements immediately after healing from your first treatment, with best results visible 2-3 months after treatment.

How Much Does it Cost?

Laser skin resurfacing costs range from $500 to $5,000. Here are some of the factors that will affect your final cost:

  • Laser type

  • Laser settings

  • Treatment area

  • Skin condition

  • Individual goals

When you visit us at Renew Beauty for a free consultation, we can assess your needs and provide a treatment estimate just for you.

Are There Any Potential Side Effects?

Most patients report redness, swelling, and itching. Some experience temporary acne or changes in skin color. Infection is possible, so please let your provider know if you are not healing quickly. If you have sensitive skin or active skin issues like eczema or acne, side effects may be worse, and you may not be a good candidate for Fraxel® skin resurfacing.

What If I Have More Questions?

We would be happy to answer all further questions about laser skin resurfacing. If you’re considering treatment, don’t wait – if you have an important function or event to attend, you must schedule your treatment at least 3-4 weeks beforehand so that you have time to heal. Let’s start working towards younger and smoother skin together.

How Many Sessions Are Needed?

You will see results immediately after healing from your first laser skin resurfacing treatment. That being said, your recommended treatment regimen will depend on your goals and skin condition.

For hyperpigmentation, just one or two sessions will probably be sufficient for best results. When it comes to deep wrinkles or scarring, expect 3-5 sessions for best results.

An effective treatment regimen usually involves 3-5 sessions spaced 2-4 weeks apart, depending on your schedule. Results are progressive, so you should see optimal improvements within 2-3 months after completing treatment.
